Laptops :: Dell C600 won't shut down completely

Does it work with DSL version 2.1b ?

This version has better ACPI support because it is a newer kernel version and some of the ACPI bugs have been fixed.

It's a Dell C600, it's not that old. I also installed the latest/last BIOS upgrade available. The 'Power Management' feature was 'enabled' in the BIOS. I just turned that off. I'll reboot/shutdown and see what happens.
