Laptops :: compaq contura 420cx.
I have this 486 dx4 75 with 16 MB RAM. I've installed DSL but I can run fluxbox only with 4 bit colors. Why? 
Does the display handle anything higher??

try hitting F2 @ boot and use dsl vga=normal
