Laptops :: Armada 7800 crashing with Prism2 card

Hello; Im trying DSL on a Compaq Armada 7800(P2, 196Mo RAM). Without wlan card, DSL runs fine. However, as soon as my WL11A Prism2 card is present, DSL freezes on detection (after "modprobe orinoco_cs"). This is the case either at boot or after hot plugging the card.

Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround for that? Thanks!
