Laptops :: Problems loading DSL

for those time warnings I'm assuming that your date is not set correctly... just fyi.

To change the boot options automatically, that depends on how you are booting DSL.
I guess you'd be using the default 'current' iso for your livecd. To change them all you have to do is edit the cfg in the isolinux dir in the iso. You will have to reburn this though.

I'm using a frugal HDD install now

are you using grub or lilo?

I guess you'd be using grub, so you'll have to edit [....]/boot/grub/menu.lst
or wherever the config is installed to.
