Laptops :: Touchpad works for root only

I installed DSL 3.0.1 onto an old HP N3270 laptop hard drive. When I login as root the touchpad works in X. When I login as a non-root user, it doesn't.

I assume that there much be some permission problems in /dev. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the touchpad working for all users?

Thanks.

Hi
Did you try xsetup.sh?

Thanks. This worked.

The script writes to $HOME/.xserverrc, so copying /root/.xserverrc to /home/dsl/.xserverrc and changing permissions works.
