Laptops :: power management

Laptops need to conserve power to last as long as possible. How is this handled by DSL?

DSL uses much less 'power' than most windoze operating systems. I have two laptops that i use DSL on and they last much longer using DSL than windoze.
You can also get a battery monitor in the repository to keep an eye on it if you want to.
