Laptops :: Have trouble with Gateway Solo 2500[]

When I do not type dsl vga=788; fb800x600, and I just press enter, it boots and displays in yellow-green and white, no other colors, and when I type dsl vga=normal I get error

Doesn't matter whether fb800x600 is typed.

I haven't tryed no frame buffering

Try:

dsl xsetup vga=normal

and then test some different XVesa resolutions and color depths. Hopefully, one will work with your card.
