Laptops :: Satellite M45-S165; hangs on boot starting cardmgr

I have booted and tried to start cardmgr once DSL is loaded, but now I can't start it. Also, the card is not detected at all anymore when I boot "dsl nopcmcia". Can anyone help out? It is important that I can use my built-in wireless card with DSL for my courses.
