Laptops :: Issues with APM/ACPI

Hi,

I'm converting an old laptop into a picture-frame/media-centre but it keeps going into sleep-mode - i.e. the screen switches off and the laptop goes into standby.

I've tried passing the "noapm" switch to LiLo, but it's not working.

Any hints are greatfully appreciated....

See if you can disable it in the BIOS. That's what I've had to do on my IBM lappy's.
