Also, when I boot up using a floppy, it says modprobe: Can't locate module fb0
Previously I had done a poor man's install.

Try the xvesa instead of framebuffer.

I tried xvesa, with no luck

have had any luck with it yet?... I've tried before on a 110cs but no luck though I know it is possible to get the colors right though I had the same problem with Deli linux but I managed to solve it but changing to some obscure setting like 15bit color or something wierd like that... but not sure of how to do that with fb or xvesa...
