Laptops :: How do I stop my laptop from going into hibernate?

I have done a harddisk install of DSL and love it.  Everything works perfectly, including wireless networking, music CD playback, etc.  My  only problem is that after a period of keyboard inactivity, my laptop goes into hibernation and can only be awakened by pressing the power key for a fresh boot.  Does anyone know how  to disable hibernation with DSL?  My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3800.  Thanks for any help.
Most laptops have a way to disable it in the BIOS. There also may be a BIOS update from Dell that would fix that problem.
Dear Doobit,
Thanks for the hint.  I feel like such a retard!  The bios change fixed my problem.

unreal_scar,
Don't feel like that. Everyone is at a different stage in the learning process and you gotta ask the questions.
