Apt-get :: Looking for a good DSL sources.list for HD install

Does anyone have a good sources.list file for a DSL HD install?

I did a HD install with DSL, but the default sources.list file is pretty slim.

Hopefully there are some users here with repositories that are usefull, but won't break everthing.

Thanks,

Adam

Hi,
the file is thin because DSL is a small debian-like distro, with less library than other bigger distros (e.g. knoppix 5 f.ex.). So, you can find sources for other addresses, but most of the packages you would like to install in dsl won't automatically do so.
So let me formulate your question anew: is there someone who has a good sources.lst for DSL?

If you must use apt-get use the sarge repos. But keep in mine using apt can break your system if it try's to replace the base stuff.

I add the sarge/main repository and did an upgrade. It added 21mb of used file space.

setting up bash (2-05b-26)
chmod: invalid mode --reference/etc/shells
dpkg:error processing bash (--configure)
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Error were encountered while processing:
bash
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Using it for a 10 year old labtop running PII mmx mobile processor.

Thulemanden: Are you using DSL 3.2?  If not, which version?
However, a solution here could be to load gnu-utils (which should replace chmod)
