Apt-get :: bash: apt-get: command not found

I am willing to switched from Kubutu to DSL.

However I required my internet to work, which I have to install drivers for seperetly...

I go to ./configure and then:

checking how to run the C preprocessor... /lib/cpp
configure: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

So assume I need to build essential then get:
lib/cpp" fails sanity check
bash: apt-get: command not found

What is going on? I urgently need to resolve this if I am to switch as DSL is perfect!

Apps >> Tools >> Enable Apt

Get the gcc1.dsl

Learn to use the search function.

Read the documentation.

Welcome to DSL.

After I enabled it, How do I disable apt-get?

Thanks,

If you're using liveCD/frugal/embedded, reboot.
If you have a traditional HD install you would need to remove the application files manually.
