Okay. This is strange. Burned DSL on a CD-R on another computer. Rebooted. Came up perfectly.
Stuck in an older computer only 1/2 expecting it to boot. Opened windows explorer and saw the disk sitting there called Knoppix (sp?). Opened the disk to see what was on it and opened the html file there. Was just curious if windows could see the linux files.
Downloaded the disk image and made the boot floppy. Booted off the floppy. It got as far as looking for the image on the cd and choked.
Now I can't get the CD-ROM door to open. When I push the button, the light flashes very quickly, but nothing happens. It's not available to windows. Anyway to reset it or get it working again? Could the boot floppy have caused this?
Thanks
