I really wish your program had this feature..

One thing I really like about windows is the keyboard interface. For instance say I want to type a message: Ctrl+Esc, R, notepad, Enter

I want to spell check the last word I typed: Shift + Ctrl + Left, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + Esc, R, winword, (wait for word to load...) Ctrl + V, F7 (correct word spelling), Ctrl + C, Alt + Tab, Ctrl + V

Say I want to halt all internet activity using zonealarm: Ctrl + Esc, Shift + (Tab + Tab), Right Arrow, Right Arrow, Context Menu Key, Down Arrow, Down Arrow, Enter

I can completely tell the computer what I want it to do. My attitude towards the comptuer is like this: take a note, correct this spelling of this word, halt all internet activity. No need to use a mouse, but the real advantage is that this form of communication to the computer is really fast.

If your program could do this I think it would be really awesome. I could bring my dsl cd to a friends house, sit down and make the computer do what I wanted it to do in a very short amount of time.

This feature is already included.  Look in your ~/.fluxbox/keys file.  Here you can add shortcuts to do all sorts of things.  You can also change your mod keys using xmodmap (and xev for reference). Search the forums for more details.  Also, check the options for the programs you use.  Many programs have shortcut keys built in.
