Well,  I haven't tested Firefox 1.5 using DSL but when I installed in  Ubuntu the performance of my box increased dramatically in terms of CPU usage and it is so much faster!  I just wanted to share that experience and make the developers of DSL aware of this...

hm, on every system i tried it, ff 1.5 was much slower as it's predecessors.

keep the 1.0.x line in the base iso, it seems to be much better for all the older systems.

On Winblows 1.5 works much better and looks much cleaner, on Linux I haven't tried yet.
On the 'Linux Format' magazine I've read that 1.5 has a slightly smaller footprint in terms of CPU and memory.

Really?

As I said, I installed Firefox 1.5 on Ubuntu Breezy Badger that comes with Firefox 1.07
