It may seem like a stupid question, but I did a successful lilo frugal install, of DSL ver. 2.2b, and discovered that lilo wouldn't let me boot back into WIN98SE. So I did an fdisk /MBR, and was preparing to forget about DSL, when I accidentally booted DSL with my boot disk!
I need to use the boot code, noscsi, with the CD or the system hangs, but not with my boot disk! It doesn't work with a HD install, I already tried that.
Will this method of booting cause me any problems? Is it just as good as grub or lilo? Why won't it work on the HD install?
