A Linux newbie; very impressed with DSL running as a guest from a CD with toram copying. First problem, though, is finding and installing a valid printer-driver for a HP Deskjet5550 which isn't mentioned in the set-up list. It *is* supported under Linux but where is there a printer-driver, please? Is there anything for an old robust Epson 1050 parallel dot-matrix...? For the moment, the only quick way to get things out and printed is by e-mailing them! Then I'll try to get sound (OK under Knoppix 5 DVD); and finally Wi-Fi connectivity. Laptop: Medion 96400, with AMD Turion64 and, for the moment, WinXP-Home. Grateful for any help/suggestions.
