I am not able to get dsl to boot on my "good " machine. It is a  Gigabyte 6vx7-4x f4 bios : pentium IIIS 1133 512 cache: 640 MB pc133 : Geforce g4 460 vtp 64MB DDR 4X agp.
I checked the cheats page and tried failsafe,  vga=normal ,base , toram and noram. afer the penguin screen it says loading kernel and it stops and the pc speaker beeps continuously until i shut the power off.

I had no trouble on my WIFE'S - ZM6 : PIII 1000 100fsb : 256 MB pc133 : G2 400 32MB, or the computer in my shop - GA-5AX : K6-2 500 : 256MB pc100, and it even worked on a M761 with a pII 300 and 64 memory and a crappy pci video card.

Therefore i know it isnt the cd, but a hardware problem not allowing dsl to start. Could anyone point me to a thread that may have dealt with this issue?

Don't know if this applies: http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9595_22-523392.html

Did you try the superfailsafe bootcode sequence?

btw, where did you see "noram"?
