I installed DSL this morning first time. It made my Thinkpad 600 laptop fast as I expected.
The problem is keyboard layout fi-latin1. As other non English European languages in Finnish we need altGr+key for about 10 important keys. Most difficult is @ - it does not work terminal, Dillo neither Firefox. The Swedish version se-latin1 is much better. In Firefox none of those keys work. I write this with Dillo.
A minor problem is that reboot does not work. After my (dual booting) Windows 98 it works, but not after DSL.
BTW I enjoyed reading for about three hours these Forums and Wikis.

Did you try looking in DSLPanel for the keys?

I changed the keyboard layout in DSL panel. When installing on hard disk, I chose fi-latin1 as the layout.

My keyboard problem is not urgent, because I can work with se-latin1.

Because the two layout are very near each other, I started to suspect the possibitlity of a bug in fi-latin1. I think that DSL migth lose future users. If one does not find a way to produce the character @, you can't register to DSL Forum member in order to ask for an advice.

I have also keyboard problem in ThinkPad 770x. Scandinavian characters are not working either finnish of swedish keyboard settings. A with 2 dots looks is [ and O with 2 dots is \. Other heys are ok with swedish settings.

Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?
