I just saw the time zone entry in the DSL wiki when I was searching for something else.
At the moment /usr/share/zoneinfo contains three subdirectories there: US, Europe, and Asia with about 30 supported zones (dixit wiki)
Just a suggestion, but in the interests of keeping DSL trim AND pleasing everybody - could we have the lib6c subdirectory (/etc?) that contains GMT-11, GMT-10,...GMT+10, GMT+11 instead?
This way everybody that uses DSL could find their time zone
