Quote (mikshaw @ Feb. 11 2007,21:38) | Each mydsl extension is accompanied by a checksum file and an info file. The info file has (or should have) a brief description of the program... |
Mikshaw: Thank you for that information. I just jave a problem with a couple hundred application and little else until I open it to read more.
I was thinking of some sort of Marketing approach to this task. Perhaps the application name may be well known to some but to me a Nubie ... I have a dumb stare glazed look of "what's all this?"
Perhaps I grab the text of each "The info file has (or should have) a brief description of the program..." I could add that to the application name, in an online list and serve it up as a searchable application resource. this is my more perfect world.
Thanks for the reply to keep me on track. MT
