I just tried out dsl-3.4.7

The new lspci works fine and the dsl panel opens first click in legacy mode - thanks.

Torsmo-0.18 reports "Battery: unknown 245%" or similar when fully charged and on ac power, otherwise OK.

but I do not have a working laptop+battery available, etc. ... iirc, only one other user reported a problem that only showed AC even though the ac adapter was unplugged, but that's probably a different matter.

There was no change to torsmo in 3.4.7. I believe some of you were still hashing out how to handle all the various methods that battery state is stored and reported in /proc. Until I receive an update or the recommendation to once again fall back to torsmo v017, so shall it remain.

I just tried out conky-1.4.9 using the dsl .torsmorc file as an input.

In this case I get "Battery: charged" rather than "Battery: unknown 245%" in torsmo-0.18 and "Battery: AC" in torsmo-0.17.

Given the issues several users have with torsmo-0.17 and the battery designation, maybe it would be best to try to modify the torsmo-0.18 source to use the conky-1.4.9 logic - but, this is way beyond me...
