I assume you are talking about the Intel Pro Wireless mini-pci card that is popular on laptops, right?
Well, there are 2 answers to the question of how to enable it.
The short answer is, you can't. DSL doesn't support it "out of the box".
The long answer requires a HD installl, apt-getting the GCC, compiling the drivers from the source code, installing the ipw2100 firmware, and praying that it works.
I have done this 3 times, it sort of worked once.
It was easier for me to just fork over the cash for a netgear usb wireless dongle. It works all the time.

-------------- They say if you play a Microsoft CD backwards, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing, cause if you play it forwards, it installs Windows.
