After much hair tearing and swearing, managed to get a DSL box to print finally on my Samsung printer!  OO.dsl didnt want to work, so had to install it from source. Managed to get CUPS onto the box.
Problem is, it's my laptop running DSL 0.9.2 and OO is installed into a speperate partition due to lack of space. Well at least I have something I can do my reports on under DSL! 
Can't seem to get CUPS to install on my main box running DSL 1.2.x, but will give it another try later.
Thanks so much to everyone in the DSL community who has helped a half-noob like me. 
P.S.: Don't know if its just me, but OO doesnt seem to remember any settings. Has any one else had this?
