I came up with a problem yesterday.
I couldn't find a file I wanted. Stupid thing, I thought, I'll just fire up search...

wait.
Where is it?
Can any kind soul point to the right direction? Be it CLI or GUI, or does DSL NOT have any kind of search?

I am not for sure, but I believe in CLI you can try 'whereis filename' or 'find filename'

find is a very powerful tool for doing searches (it is the one I use most of the time).  There is also a DSL called gtkfind.dsl if you want a gui type search tool.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I'm doing fine now.
But while we're on this subject, is there anything that's on par with Google Desktop Search or Beagle? Of course it goes without saying it should be as non-bloated as possible. Thanks again.
