i've searched and searched but have not found a way to install truetype fonts in DSL.  is there some documentation out there that i've missed?  i found a couple of posts here in the forum on this subject but no real solutions.

onegear, have you tried loading the XFree86.dsl extension from the repository?  I needed to do that in order to use fonts before.  I believe you need to uncomment fontPaths in the XF86Config-4 file.  There was a post about this here.  According to that, true type fonts go into the TTF directory.
