Hi pros,

after having installed my DSL 2.4 to my hdd, i only got something like:
Code Sample

INIT: Entering runlevel: 5
USing X resolution from previously selected or default settings.
If you want to change the resolution, run 'xsetup.sh'.

giving up
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error

or

Code Sample

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Unfortunately i´m a spoiled SuSE noob with a nice desktop and the only thing for what i use the shell there is to install some programms as root faster. So i really dont know what this message means and what went wrong. After using that 'xsetup.sh' nothing changed and some X-tutorials show me actions with files i dont have.
Has anybody some patience and an idea what i should do?

Thanx for any help!

Laptop:
Dell Latitude
64 MB Ram
260 MHz

Try booting from livecd with a command at the boot prompt like:

fb800x600

Does it work?
