Hello everyone... I can change the screen resolution, but the refresh rate is bad for my monitor, it looks terrible and my eyes are very tired. Watching the screenshots in the web site I can tell something is wrong (when I watch with my other Linux of course). I've tried the Xvesa options but without sucess. Any way, I just want to know how to tweak this.

Please forgive my english and thanks in advance.

DSL is really good !

If you have tried the XVesa command line options:

-screen WIDTH[/WIDTHMM]xHEIGHT[/HEIGHTMM][@ROTATION][X][Y][xDEPTH/BPP{,DEPTH/BPP}[xFREQ]]

by editing the xsetup file and then hitting CTL-ALT-BACKSPACE

followed by:

startx

you should be able to control some refresh frequency.

If not, the only other solution that I know of is to install the XFree86 XWindows system packages. This assumes that you have an hard disk install version of DSL.
