I pulled on the cord to remove the key and the end popped out along with the litte led window.  Should I pop a drop of glue on the end to stop it coming out again or would that cause any problems?

Heh, he wouldn't need glue for that. I went swimming in a lake for 4 hours with my pendrive still in my pocket. It's 6 months later and still works fine lol
