clicking system stats from thesystem menu will show the version, I have 2.2 but I have a hd install.I use fluxbox but the same applied to jwm..if you want to remove duplicate menu items go to emelfm and hit H to show hidden files in /home/dsl.. then go to fluxbox open and open menu..the txt doc is the menu..find the menu item in question..highlite and cut..then save the file..if you use jwm then I think it is the jwmrc. this menu can also be helpful if you need to find a path to an executable, to create a desktop shortcut or a drawer item. I noticed that when I switch from flux to jwm on the dx2 that the jwm menu lists some programs twice..I think mahjong or backgammon..I deleted via this method.
