Hi there,
I am new to DSL, and want to install it to an USB stick for live booting, I done it with the build in script, but I want to install some of my favorite apps. as well and they are big, such as GIMP and Openoffice. Is is possible to put the whole thing in a 512M stick, and have a more Debian standard Apt-get function so that I can install and uninstall more easy, and I can upgrade the kernel when needed, but I don't see any standard desktop distro have USB stick boot install option, or I can skin out some unneeded apps. to fit it into the stick. One more question, I know there is frugal install to reduce r/w to the CF to save it's life, but how about USB stick, does the install script take care of it as well ?
