Hello all ;)
Recently me and two other school buddies started a school project, the project idea is to develope a very simple application that would run under linux/windows. The application itself will have a few different options for transfering a linux distribution (DSL) to a users USB Device (Memory). In other words, it will take the packets, or the choosen packets and place them correctly in the usb device.

We need some inspiration ;P, has this been done before?, are there other similar applications like this out there?. We would really appreciate some help, or programming tips if there arent other sources of ideas similar to ours. Sorry for my english writing, i hope you can understand what im saying.

Thanks a lot / Andreas

What's the application? What exactly do you want to do? Maybe it has been done before, but how do we know?
