i use a sunnyline optical mouse on usb port
but the wheel in the middle doesnt work when i use it noting happens in Firefox

What X server are you using? Xvesa, fbdev, XFree86?
You may need to specify a 5-button mouse, and if using XFree86 you may need to map z-axis for buttons 4 and 5

ok...so you're using Xvesa =o)

If you look in /home/dsl/.xserverrc, does it include the number 5 next to the mouse device? (-mouse "/dev/something",5)

i cant find a file called .xserverrc in
/home/dsl/

using emelfm
