I'm curently building a server that runs with DSL.
The display is old GoldStar display from -89. :p
Now I would like to make it set the right resolution automatically for that display.
I run DSL from CD and load configs from USB stick (if server brokes down I can move my software to another computer fastly).

So is there any way, add a line to /opt/bootlocal.sh for example, to change that resolution after boot?

In console, no. In X just restart with the parameters you want..
