I'm not sure what you're asking. From the title of your post, it looks like you understand how to change the style file to use a new font. Is there something else I'm missing?
The styles included in DSL are in /usr/share/fluxbox/styles. Copy one or more of these to /home/dsl/.fluxbox/styles and make whatever changes you want. You can use xfontsel or xlsfonts to find out what X fonts are available.
