Okay, I'm a bit of a linux n00b so bear with me.

I succesfully did a HD install of DSL on my machine. Now, this machine is miles away from my router so the only option is to use wireless. On my XP box I checked on the NDISWrapper list and found the right driver to use, downloaded it and put it on a floppy. But, DSL doesn't even try to look whats on the disk when I try to get at it via "/mnt/floppy", "/mnt/auto/floppy" or "/floppy" because they are all empty folders and the drive doesn't make the peculiar noises. Its kinda annoying not being able to talk to the outside world and any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandig

You need to "mount" your floppy drive in order to see the data.

Either use the little dockapp window in the lower right hand corner of the screen to select and mount the floppy, or from Emelfm, Right-click on the floppy folder in the /mnt/auto directory and choose "Mount" from the context menu.
