The Debian fakeroot package doesn't seem to work - just get "command not found" type error after apt-get installing & then trying.
This seems to be the only one of the packages needed to compile the kernel from source that doesn't seem to run on dsl.
A board search revealed nothing. Perhaps I'm not using it correctly.
Assistance anybody?
What if I compile as root from a livecd boot instead of using fakeroot - a bad idea?
