Whenever i open a fluxbox-menu (right click in the desktop) but then deside that i want to do something else i have to close the menu again by clicking somewhere on the desktop (menu disappears).

I usually forget to close the menu and just open up something else (like emelfm) BUT THEN the fluxmenu stays on top of the screen (in stead of that it auto-senses that it is no longer necessary and hide itself) To close it up again i have to minimize my app en click on the desktop.

Is there a setting somewhere in fluxbox that makes it auto-hide the menu when it is "left open"?

Right-click on the titlebar of the menu.

Sorry...it may be a new thing.  I'm using 0.9.10, and that was the easiest thing I tried to get rid of the menu.  I very seldom open my fluxbox menu (hotkeys are my friend), so I'd never run into your bug until I tried to recreate it.

What also worked....
Right-click twice on the titlebar of your application.
Click on the menu titlebar to give it focus, and then press Esc.

I unfortunuatly have fluxbox 099 (dsl), but love to try your version... (more options i think)

did you compile it yourself? (any trouble in doing that?)
