Ok, here it goes. I want to install DSL on a:

P100
32 MB of Ram
8 gigs HardDrive (that is what I want...)

I tried booting DSL with 0.8.2 and 0.8.3, but none seems to work. My harddrive as been formatted, I tried multiple drive setting.

The content of my 2 cd goes something like:
Knoppix folder
lost+found folder
boot folder
some html file

I also tried using a boot floppy, but keep on getting this error:
Invalid System Disk
Replace the disk, and then press any Key

Any idea what to do?

Did you use the Rawrite32 program to create your boot floppy?

http://www.duskware.com/download/rawrite.zip

If so, try a different floppy disk.  DSL needs a floppy disk that contains no errors.

Yes, yes, yes,.... the FRESH floppy disk is a good suggestion ..
an old one from the 'good ol' DOS days' will not do too well ..

Also, make sure your BIOS is setup to boot from the floppy disk FIRST ..

Don't worry about the BIOS, I changed it. I created my first boot floppy using undisker and extracting the file to my floppy disk. Here is the content:

boot.msg
f2
f3
german.kbd
ldlinux.sys
logo.16
syslinux.cfg
linux24
minirt24.gz

Which file do I use with Rawwrite? The minirt.gz or the .img? It seems to ask for *.fs.gz or *.fs kind of files.

rawrite is used to record the dsl boot floppy image file out to a floppy disk.

The floppy disk image is located here:

ftp://ibiblio.org/pub....8.0.img

But since you have something that already looks like a boot floppy my guess is that you already know this.

Just for kicks, try creating a new floppy using a different disk and using rawrite32 instead of undisker.

Good Luck.
