Two problems beset those of us who are foreign to the U$A: The first is to get as much as possible of what we pay to work and as little as possible sucked away as service charges. My Credit Union account only recognizes Canadian [smaller-dollars]. Exchange charges, postage, ... there might not be much left out of $10 or $20. My best guess is to use my "debit-Mastercard", since i think MasterCard has fairly low exchange surcharges; but right now i don't know how to use encryption, and i'm one of those semi-engineer sorts who wants to understand what i'm using.
The second is "Tax Receipt". If there were a Canadian registered charity to which i could donate, for DSLinux, i would be using Canadian money AND might get a receipt that would get me back 25% or more as a tax credit when i file next spring. I'm agreeable to help set up such a charity link if others show interest.
