I have 2 memory keys (different brands, different sizes) and one usb socket, how can I transfer files across with DSL ?

I'd like to be able to swap them after boot but it doesn't work, I'm new to linux but assume it's because the fstab entry for the device (sda) that is made at boot is specific to the key inserted at the time.

Is there anyway to hotplug memory keys in DSL ?

I find that when I am using two different flash drives sometimes the second one I use doesnt work on the first try. By this I mean that it sets the second one I use as sda. At that point I usually unplug it and replug it again and it is set to sda1 and is useable.

As you noted /etc/fstab is where you can see what your device is called. So I would check it before entering the second flash drive and the plug it in, wait about 20 sec. and check again. Like I said sometimes I need to replug a second time.
