I made a DSL-2.0 RC1 hd-remaster adding some software (about 260 mb of space). In the past I installed it on a compact flash (512mb) using the "hd-install" command. Someone in these forums suggested me to use "frugal install" instead. I have read "How To Install DSL on the Hard Drive via a DSL Frugal Installation Submitted by clivesay from the DSL forums" but I have these problems: 1) low ram (128 mb, but 122 available and 18 free after I launched all my applications) 2) I installed "cron" to save periodically data on CF that usually are in ramdisk 3) Firefox will be opened fullscreen at system startup (a lot of ram to start it). What is the best choice: hd or frugal installation?
