The following is the DSL setup being used on a machine

1. Dual partions created on hard drive
HDA1 - Linux Swap
HDA2 - Linux main partition ext3

2. Hard drive install using GRUB - booting with DMA, ACPI, APM noscsi, frugal and the other default stuff

3. The officejet is plugged in via USB cable

Not really clear on the easier to understand step by step (anything that might use a GUI) on how to install and print to this officejet 6310 and will also allow printing at any time after reboot with the least amount of steps.
