Hi,
I thought that I had my hd install of DSL set up nicely until I noticed that files larger than approx 2GB are not picked up by the FTP server. I have tried betaftpd and pure-ftpd and get the same results.
If I try to access the same files remotely via SSHd they appear as normal.
I use FTP to transfer files from one PC to another over the LAN, but the problem still exists if I connect from a local FTP client.
I have also tried installing pure-ftpd with Gentoo and that works just fine, so I guess that the problem is with the DSL configuration. Although the SSH works fine, it's much slower that FTP and I don't really need the encryption on my home network.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Steve
