I need make installed to install my n/w card modem working however it's not installed by default.

I read somewhere that 'make' is included in the GNU-UTILS packages, but I have tried installing both the .dsl package & the .unc package, but neither seem to include 'make'.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks,

T

Grab the 'gcc1.dsl' or 'gcc1-with-libs.dsl' package.

You will also need 'kernelsource.dsl' if you are compiling stuff.

To be more precise, you'll need that package if compiling drivers or anything else affecting/reconfiguring kernelspace.
