How do I change the font color in a pdf document? I want a black background with blue or red text... I know I can change the background with -papercolor, but the text itself remains a mystery...

I know DSL doesn't come with the Xpdf manual - but I went to read 'man xpdf' on Debian. There is no mention of changing font color. But there is this:
-rv -- reverse video (white on black)

I would be surprised if it's actually possible to change the text color of a pdf document. A pdf file is typically considered a finished document that is intended for distributing read-for-print documents. Modifying pdf files was never intended to be done by the end user.
