I edit source.list to testing and apt-get install gcc c++ make after it finish downloading It asked me to upgrade glibc Should I keep the old version ? I both keep the old version and upgrade the new version. but then after reboot, I notice that there is an error during boot. It complains about portmap service error. I fix it by remove portmap symbolic link on rc.x0 Could any linux expert give me an advice how to install them the right way without complaining the errors?
