I have flonix installed on my udb hard drive (8gb) I would actualy prefer a much bigger distro with much more options but nothing really works. So, I am pretty happy about flonix right now. In flonix you have the option to install much more apps in this case: menu > Office > more apps > Install / run OpenOffice - 75Mb if you press this you can choose between Install/run on comp. memory, install on al local disk, run from a local disk. If I choose Install/run on comp. memory its start downloading it completes downloading but then: its start uncompresing, udeliting the ...archive and then its gone. If i try install on local disk Its disappears as soon as he knows where to install himself (you get this window where do you want to install OO.o when I choose for example tmp it disapears. this i really irritating because it very boring to keep downloading the same file. btw with games instead of Office it does work. edit: btw2 I found a bunch of files I think this is suposed to be it but how do you get this thing started anyone experienced with this?

How can I handle this??

Anyone how wants to answer in dutch please!!  :p

Lifetec if I remember - I tried Flonix- the script that installs OO should set it up for you to use. If you set it up with synaptic you can run the program from the user shell by typing ooffice.  If Flonix scripts download and install there should be an office directory that you navigate to and launch it with soffice. Let me know if this helps-
