you need to get the jre1_5_0.tar.gz extension from the system extensions section and install it you should look at the other posts here too try out the search button it works great

export PATH="$PATH:/opt/jre1_5_0/bin/"
export JAVA_HOME=/opt/jre1_5_0
java <<your stuff here>>
